Oh YAY! A new floor!
Once upon a time, a long long time ago (three months) there was a family moving into a big beautiful house that had not been treated like the big beautiful house she is for quite a while. She was strong and had gorgeous features, but needed to be reminded of her real inner beauty.
And so it began....
This is our 'finished' bathroom floor. I wish I would have taken pictures of what it looked like before, but it was just so stressful, I hated to even look at it. Please know, we have always had a fully functioning bathroom and once this subfloor was done, the delay was trying to get subcontractors to return our calls (which they never did) and ME trying to pick out flooring....which I DID!
We still need to select trim and I have some little touches rolling around in my noggin to really make it 'PoP', but my carpenter will be available after Thanksgiving (hopefully!) and we'll get it all squared away. For now, I am enjoying the decorating possibilities!
